JACKSON, Wyo. — Hear from local candidates preparing to face off in the primary election at a pair of candidate forums next week at the Teton County Library.
Presented by the League of Women Voters of Wyoming, Teton County Library, the Jackson Hole News&Guide, KHOL Radio and Buckrail, these forums provide the opportunity to get to know the people behind the names on the ballot. Candidates will participate in a Q&A moderated by media partners, including questions from the audience.
On Wednesday, July 15, get to know candidates vying for seats on the Teton County Board of County Commissioners. Democrats Brent Blue, Karyn Chin, Ali Dunford, Wes Gardner, Mark Newcomb and Luther Propst will participate in the Q&A. Republican candidates — Vicky O’ Donoghue and Melchor Dylan Moore — and Independent candidate Alex Muromcew will also have the chance to introduce themselves.
On Thursday, July 16, hear from candidates running for Teton County coroner: Katrina Clauson, David Hodges, Russell Nelson and Krista Nethercott.
Both events begin at 6 p.m. Event partners are seeking feedback about Spanish translation needs at future forums. A survey is available at: tinyurl.com/forumtranslation. Reach out if Spanish translation is needed at the primary election forums.
The forums will also be videotaped, with recordings available at TCLIB.org after the events. There will also be Spanish subtitles available on the YouTube recording.
