WYOMING — More fast charging and Level 2 charging services for electric vehicles (EV) will be installed throughout several communities in Wyoming beginning this spring.

OtterSpace Electric Vehicle, a Wyoming-based company focused on expanding EV access in the Cowboy State, announced Monday that it will install chargers in Lander, Pinedale, Dubois and Laramie through the fall of 2023.

“By partnering with local governments and businesses in communities around the state, including Fremont County Museums, the Town of Pinedale and the City of Laramie, OtterSpace is working to help Wyoming main streets, small businesses, tourism and travel attractions and amenities benefit from growing EV traffic,” said a press release from OtterSpace.

Mayor of the Town of Pinedale, Matt Murdock, expressed support for the project, noting that it will help expand local transportation options and strengthen local business.

“The Town of Pinedale is happy to partner with OtterSpace to provide EV charging for visitors to and residents of the area,” said Murcok. “This public-private partnership comes at little, if any cost, to the town and will give Pinedale area residents more transportation options while allowing us to welcome a broader tourism base to strengthen local businesses.”

All installations will be completed in partnership with AMG Electric, based in Laramie, Wyoming.
