GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK — Beginning tomorrow, Sept. 8, the Moose-Wilson Road in Grand Teton National Park (GTNP) will be closed to all traffic between the Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve and Moose. The closure is expected to be in place through Nov. 15.

Several places throughout GTNP have been under construction intermittently this summer, including a new roundabout near the entrance, improved infrastructure at the Taggart Lake Trailhead, and more parking at the Death Canyon Trailhead. The Death Canyon Road and Death Canyon Trailhead will remain closed for the rest of the 2026 season.

On Nov. 15, Moose-Wilson Road access will transition to seasonal winter recreation use.
