WILSON, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) will conduct paving work on WY22 on Thursday, Nov. 2, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., creating delays of up to 20 minutes at a time, according to the agency.

WYDOT and contract crews from Ames Construction will pave WY22 at the intersection of WY390, connecting the existing asphalt pavement to new concrete pavement.

Crews will also pave potholes on the Snake River Bridge and address other potholes in the area as needed in preparation for winter traffic.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane at lower speeds in certain stretches with flaggers directing flow, per WYDOT.

“Drivers are advised to obey all traffic control signs and plan accordingly for delays that will occur through the work zones,” the agency said. “Delays could last 10 to 20 minutes at a time. WYDOT encourages drivers to avoid the area during work hours or be prepared for delays.”

The project is expected to be completed on Thursday, weather permitting.
