JACKSON, Wyo. — Jackson Hole High School senior athletes in track and field will be honored tonight as the district has planned an event at William T. McIntosh stadium.
It’s all part of the Spring Sports Senior Nights where senior track athletes will be recognized. Anyone wishing to participate is asked to stage in either the Colter Elementary or JHHS parking lots. From there, a parade of vehicles will head toward the stadium at approximately 6:55 p.m. when the stadium lights will be turned on.
Senior athletes will be at the stadium seated in chairs where participants will be able to drive-by, wave, and say congratulations to those seniors. Tune in to KHOL 89.1 FM to hear profiles for each athlete beginning around 7:00 p.m.
“While they did not have a senior sports season we still would like to honor their contributions to our school and community as well as say thank you for their dedication to activities,” said Athletics Director Mike Hansen.
Teton County School District asks everyone participating to make sure to follow local and national guidelines around social distancing and mask wearing.
Track and Field seniors include: Orion Bergstrom, Heather Budge, Crispin Dipple, Pearson Evans, Ellie Frantz, Anna Gregg, Kade Hatten, Brody Hills, Kaitlin Meyring, Liam O’Connor, Ben Phocas, Sterling Smith, Sienna Taylor, Grace Walker, Banks Walker, Elijah Weenig, and Kahlan Wilson.
The boys and girls soccer team seniors were feted in similar fashion on May 27.
