JACKSON, Wyo. — The colors of the valley are certainly looking a little more snowy as of this morning! With temperatures dropping to colder levels, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) and Snow King Mountain Resort are moving full steam ahead with snowmaking operations.

This comes as a big change from last week, when warmer temperatures had residents asking themselves when winter would finally arrive.

Buckrail photographer Nick Sulzer snapped some photos of the operation in action at JHMR.

Snow King Mountain Resort was also blowing snow up to the top of the Cougar Lift and on the bunny slope as of yesterday afternoon.

JHMR has not yet announced a delayed opening date. Snow King Mountain Resort also had to delay opening day. Stay tuned for updates.
