JACKSON, Wyo. — On Saturday, June 17, the National Museum of Wildlife Art hosted the Plein Air Fest, Etc. for its 12th year.

Attendees browsed and bid on fresh artworks from nearly 50 artists invited to paint from the Sculpture Trail, overlooking the National Elk Refuge.

This year’s event included a “plein air” category, allowing artists to paint any regional scene, and an “al fresco” category, with no limitations on subject matter.

While the “al fresco” category was not judged, the Best in Show award winner chosen from the “plein air” participants was Benjamin Walter.
