JACKSON, Wyo. — The Planning Commission will meet virtually this evening, Dec. 1 at 5:30 p.m. to consider the sketch plan for the Condos at Cache + Pearl.
The sketch plan outlines the redevelopment of seven lots located at 50 S. Cache Street, 45 East Pearl Ave.
Zoning and Land Development Regulations require sketch plans for floor areas exceeding 39,000 square feet. The property is 67,000 square feet.
If approved by The Planning Commission, the Town Council could see the item on their Jan. 3 agenda. If approved the applicant will then submit a development plan that will then need to go through the same approval process as the sketch plan.
In November, Tyler Valentine, senior planner for the Town of Jackson, told Buckrail, “It’s fairly common for these sized buildings to go through a two-step program. Both steps are about a 90-100 day process.”
The new development will include six commercial spaces at the street level, 17 two and three-bedroom condominium units on the second and third levels, 100 square foot storage units on the basement level for each unit and 62 parking spaces in a covered garage located north of the redevelopment.
The staff report and sketch plan can be found here.
