Pet of the Week: Meet Ellie

JACKSON, Wyo. — Some little pups wanna grow up to be pretty princesses, and some are just born to zoom! You may remember Ellie, our Pet of the Week star from February, she’s young, 1.5 years old, and loves to zoom zoom zoom!

She would fair well in a home with other dogs once properly introduced, but cats are a bit irresistible to her to chase. She lives for squeaky toys, full-body snuggles, costumes, and car rides.

Originally transferred from Pinedale where she came from a rough situation and where it’s believed she was being used as a puppy-making machine in someone’s basement (sigh). Ellie is Pittapatter Heeler Mix. Doesn’t receive radio signals with her ears.

Interested parties can call the Teton Valley Community Animal Shelter to set up a meet and greet. For more details on Ellie click here.
