JACKSON HOLE, WYO – The man who was cited for walking too close to Old Faithful geyser in September was banned from entering Yellowstone or Grand Teton national parks for five years.
Gabriel Villalva, 27, of Greeley, Colorado pleaded guilty yesterday to disorderly conduct and foot traffic on a thermal area in Yellowstone. Magistrate Judge Mark L. Carman sentenced him to five years probation, during which time he is not allowed to enter the parks.
Villalva is still facing charges for the police chase that ended with his arrest in Cheyenne.
