WYOMING – The Greeley, Colorado man charged with trespassing on Old Faithful is in trouble again after he led Cheyenne police on a chase through the state capital.
Gabriel Villalva, 27, was spotted near Lions Park around 2pm on Wednesday after police received reports of someone driving a Yukon recklessly around the city. He was engaged and a 15-minute pursuit ensued.
After deploying spike-strips causing two tires to deflate, Villalva finally came to a stop when sparks from the vehicle’s rims caught the Yukon on fire. He was reportedly noncompliant at that point so police fired beanbag rounds at him.
During the chase, Villalva did considerable damage to private property including driving on a golf course and striking a police car.
Buckrail has obtained a video confirmed by Cheyenne Police to be Gabriel Villalva on his way to Yellowstone the night before he would later allegedly trespass on Old Faithful and Beryl Springs.
