JACKSON, Wyo. — The median family income in Teton County rose in 2025, changing the earning limits for affordable home units through the Jackson/Teton County Housing Department.
In a news release on Thursday, Teton County stated that the median family income rose by 4.95%, according to new data by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The Housing Department’s income range chart shows that the new median is $103,950 for a single-person household, and $118,800 for a two-person household. The median family income for a household of four is up from $141,500 to $148,500.
The Housing Department sets income limits based on annual data by HUD for affordable rental and ownership units. Households earning less than 160% of the median family income can qualify for affordable housing. The workforce housing program has no income limit, but requires that 75% of household income be earned locally. According to the news release, both programs require that applicants work full time for a local business.

“Households seeking safe, stable housing through the Jackson/Teton County Housing Department, the Jackson Hole Community Housing Trust, or Habitat for Humanity should check each organization’s website for eligible programs,” reads the statement.
