ALPINE, Wyo. — The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is looking for witnesses and information regarding a hit and run that occurred on Sunday evening, August 3.

A truck hit a pedestrian around 10 p.m. and left the scene. The incident happened on Alpine County Road 100.

According to a post by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on Facebook, the vehicle was possibly a 2006 to 2008 pickup truck. The truck in question is thought to be a GMC or Chevrolet 2500 to 3500 diesel with a missing driver-side mirror.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information to contact dispatch at (307) 885-5231.
