JACKSON, Wyo. — The Jackson Hole Wildlife Foundation (JHWF) is looking for more Nature Mappers to aid in citizen science that helps inform management decisions for wildlife. The Foundation will be hosting two more orientations and trainings for anyone interested.
On Wednesday, Nov. 13, a virtual training will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
On Thursday, Dec. 5, an in-person training will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce. Please note that space will be limited.
To sign up and secure a spot for both the virtual and in person sessions, email Jessie@jhwildlife.org.
Anyone is able to become a Nature Mapper. Nature Mappers are able to submit basic wildlife watching observations while involved in everyday activities, and contributed sightings can be shared with JHWF partners like the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, the National Park Service and the U.S. Forest Service.
