JACKSON, Wyo. — “What is, Wyoming?”

Viewers of the Feb. 15 episode of “Jeopardy!” learned a little something about Jackson Hole when a contestant chose a clue from the category called “Jackson.”

“Economists get a taste of the outdoors at the central banking annual conferences in Jackson Hole in this state,” host Ken Jennings read.

Luckily, the contestant answered correctly. Other questions in the “Jackson” category included trivia about President Andrew Jackson, gospel singer Mahalia Jackson, the “Percy Jackson” book series and the Jackson brand of guitars.

Jackson Hole was featured as an entire category on an episode of “Jeopardy!” in 2006. Questions revolved around Town Square, its antler arches, the “Equality State” moniker and the summertime shoot-out.
