JACKSON, Wyo. — The Fund for Public Education today announced the addition of Lisa Carlin to its board of directors and Lori Crabtree as the Community Outreach Director.
A longtime champion of Teton County schools and youth programs, Lisa Carlin has served on the boards of Teton Youth and Family Services, One 22, the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole, and the National Museum of Wildlife Art. Prior to becoming a full-time resident of Jackson in 2000, she served as a board member of the Junior League of Columbus (Ohio), and on the Women’s Board of the Columbus Museum of Art. She also worked in the Development Department of the Columbus Academy.
Lori Crabtree, who is joining the Fund for Public Education as the Community Outreach Director, has worked as a marketing, communications, and event management consultant for over two decades. Since moving to Jackson Hole in the early 1990s, Lori has also spent countless hours volunteering, fundraising, and supporting local schools and nonprofits. She will be working on a variety of programming and fundraising initiatives.
“This is an incredibly challenging time for our schools and the role of the Fund for Public Education has never been more crucial,” said Jennifer Jellen, the Fund’s Executive Director. “While our current focus is on helping schools get the supplies and support they need to safely operate during the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve also been working to build our team in ways that will ensure success far into the future. We’re truly grateful to have Lisa and Lori join us. Both are talented and dedicated, and each brings a wealth of experience that strengthens our mission of supporting Teton County Wyoming’s public schools.”
The Fund for Public Education is a nonprofit that supports educational programs for Teton County School District #1.
