WILSON, Wyo. — Teton County Road and Levee has placed vehicle restrictions along the route of the WY22 detour around Fish Creek Bridge repair, effective beginning on Wednesday.
Vehicles that will be allowed to travel through Wilson using the detour include: passenger cars and trucks, emergency services, START buses, waste removal trucks, fuel and propane delivery, food and beverage delivery, package delivery, and landscaping vehicles accessing Fish Creek and Fall Creek roads. Fuel, propane, food, and beverage delivery trucks must be providing services to downtown Wilson, according to Teton County’s Friday announcement.
“Non-essential or oversized vehicles must contact Teton County Road and Levee at least 48 hours in advance for approval,” the announcement reads. “A 60,000-pound gross vehicle weight limit will remain in effect throughout the project area. Fuel, propane, food, and beverage delivery trucks servicing areas outside of downtown Wilson will not be able to access the detour route and should plan to use alternate routes.”

“Congestion is expected, especially during school drop-off and pick-up hours,” the announcement reads. “Please drive patiently, cautiously, and defensively, and obey all traffic signs and restrictions.”
