YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK — It’s not necessarily what it sounds like.
One unlucky family was recording a stampede of bison from inside their rental car, and captured the moment a one-ton bison side swiped their car, smashing the bumper and shattering the windshield. The bison didn’t stop to swap insurance info, but the family didn’t have insurance, anyway.
“I can’t believe we didn’t take the insurance,” someone in the video says.
The video was posted to Youtube yesterday, crediting the Delle Chiaie family.
Unofficial Networks reported the family is estimating roughly $10,000 of damage. No charges have been filed against the bison.
