JACKSON, Wyo. — History Jackson Hole welcomes Randy’L Teton — the official Shoshone model for the U.S Sacajawea Dollar Coin and children’s book author — for Bagels & Banter on Friday, Oct. 25 at 10:30 a.m. at the Jackson Hole History Museum.

Teton will talk about her graphic novel It’s Her Story: Sacajawea, followed by a book signing with books available for purchase. The program is free and open to the public and suggested for families with children grades K-5. Enjoy free Museum entrance for the event and bagels, too!
Randy’L is a member of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribe and will share her journey as the “only living and youngest model on US currency” and how she published her children’s book about Sacajawea’s journey with the Lewis & Clark Expedition.
Teton will answer questions about Sacajawea’s life including: What happened to Sacajawea after the two-year expedition? Did she have more children? Did she pass away at a young age or live to be an elder? What is the correct way of spelling her name?
Teton will stay at the Museum for a Lunch & Learn conversation for adults, also on Friday, Oct, 25 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in the History Museum’s Marion W. Buchenroth Classroom. Attendance is free. Please bring a brown bag lunch; lemonade and cookies will be served.
