JACKSON, Wyo. — Weekend campers, circle up.

Bridger-Teton National Forest (BTNF) posted to Facebook on Friday afternoon advising that recent thunderstorms have created challenging conditions on the road to popular camping destination Shadow Mountain.

“Due to recent rain, the road to upper Shadow Mountain on the Jackson Ranger District of the Bridger-Teton National Forest is nearly impassable,” the post states. “Please plan ahead and consider alternate campsites in the area. … Wet weather is expected to continue through the weekend, so please plan accordingly.”
