JACKSON, Wyo. — The Jackson Town Council and Teton County Board of County Commissioners have a Joint information meeting and individual board meetings scheduled for Monday, Aug. 1.
The County Commissioners will meet for a voucher meeting at 9 a.m. on Aug. 1. The Commission will discuss a number of administrative items, outgoing correspondence to WYDOT and the Office of State Lands and Investments, set the 2022 Mill Levies and discuss bear conflict outreach, amongst other items.
At 1:30 p.m. the Town Council and the County Commissioners will meet for a Regular Joint Information Meeting in the commissioner’s chamber.
The meeting will begin with updates from human service organizations, including on-the-ground perspectives from 12 different local social service providers. Then, under Discussion/Action items, there will be consideration of the acceptance of the BUILD Grant. The Town and County need to reach an agreement on their respective roles for the joint components of the BUILD Grant. The internal deadline for signing the agreement is Aug. 1.
Then at 6 p.m., The Council will meet for a regular meeting. Three new town employees will be introduced and the council will then consider nine items on the consent calendar. Town Manager Larry Pardee will present a Subrecipient Agreement for the BUILD Grant and Assistant Director of Public Works, Johnny Ziem will present a GMP Contract for the Core Services Vehicles Maintenance Facility.
After that, Resolution 22-17, which involves an FAA grant for Jackson Hole Airport, will be read. The second reading of Ordinance N: Amending the Zoning Designation at 460 E. Broadway, will also be read. The Council will also review Board and Commission reports, Planning Commission Reappointments, and Board of Examiners Reappointments. The final item will be the consideration of the Town Manager’s Report.
