The Teton County Fair wrapped up on Sunday, July 27, with a sold-out edition of the Figure 8 Races. Buckrail staffers Nick Sulzer and Caroline O’Neill both captured footage of the merriment and mayhem.
Before the smoke started billowing, the event began with its ceremonial fanfare.
And then it was off to the races!
The objective of the race is to be the fastest to make 12 laps around the figure 8-shaped track, all while avoiding getting too banged up to continue.
In the end, Jorge Meneses came in first place, followed by Ruben Gallegos in second and Joey Parker in third.
