JACKSON, Wyo. \u2014 The 2020 Teton County Fair is underway, but it is not too late to enter this weekend\u2019s Horse Show events. Those interested in showing off their horsemanship skills have until Thursday, July 23 at 5:00 p.m. to enter the following shows: Showmanship; Trail\/Obstacle Course; Pleasure and Non-Pro Western. Team Branding entries will be accepted up until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25. \u201cEntries for English and Western Dressage Horse Shows almost doubled this year and really highlighted some of our local equestrian talent,\u201d said Teton County Fair and Fairgrounds Manager Rachel Grimes. \u201cEveryone had a lot of fun and that\u2019s what it\u2019s all about!\u201d The Team Ranch Sorting is scheduled for Saturday, July 25 at 8:30 a.m. in the Rodeo Arena, and at the same time, the Showmanship event will take place on the Grassy Arena of the Teton County Fairgrounds. The Team Branding event will take place around 2:00 p.m. in the Rodeo Arena. Then on Sunday, July 26, the Pleasure and Non-Pro Western show is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. in the Rodeo Arena. Also, at 8:30 a.m. the Trail\/Obstacle Course will take place on the Grassy Arena on the Fairgrounds. Rounding out the Horse Show events is the presentation of Mary Wigg Sportsmanship Award, which will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the Rodeo Arena. Spectators are invited to watch the Horse Shows for free from the Rodeo Arena grandstands, but are encouraged to wear face coverings and practice social distancing. Those interested in entering the Showmanship and Halter Class, Trail\/Obstacle, and the Western Non-Pro classes can do so online at the Teton County Fair website.
