JACKSON, Wyo. — It’s summer, Jackson! With it comes the usual array of activities, including the Teton County Fair in July, which will run July 18 to 28. Organizers are now accepting entries for many of its most popular events, including pig wrestling, which will make its return this year.

Those interested can apply for pig wrestling, which will only have a Pee Wee, Junior, Teen and Women’s division this year. Sorry guys, no men over the age of 17 can participate in that event this year. Pig wrestling entries are due by July 21 at 5 p.m., and all entrants must take a class on animal handling and care to participate.

Blue Ribbon Exhibit Hall entries are due by 5 p.m. on July 17 for in-person and mail submissions, and by 5 p.m. on July 19 for online submissions. All exhibits must be dropped off at the Fairground Community Building on July 21 between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Rodeo entries also close on July 17 at 5 p.m. The rodeo draw will be posted on July 21 at 2 p.m. on the fair website and at the Fair Office.

The horse show deadlines will vary by event. Entries for English, Western Performance and Ranch Trail Horse Show close July 16, and Western Dressage entries are due by July 23. Team Ranch Sorting and Team Branding entries close July 10.

According to a press release, all 36 spots for the Figure 8 Races have already been filled and the waitlist is also full.

A full schedule of events is available on the Teton County Fair website.
