WILSON, Wyo. — Welcome back to the valley floor, elk herds!
On Wednesday evening, a bull elk with a harem of cows and a few calves were grazing along the Beckley Parkway entrance to the Stilson lot.
The sole bull commanded attention with a massive antler rack. Numerous cars pulled over to observe the family dynamics at play.
Peep the dusting of snow atop the southern Tetons, paired with the still-changing foliage of the aspen trees in residential Wilson.
Keep an eye out for migrating elk loitering near roadways, particularly at dawn and dusk. Take extra precaution as the seasonal time change draws nearer.
