WILSON, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) has scheduled a closure of Teton Pass (WY22 between Wilson and the Idaho State Line) for Wednesday, March 6 at 3 a.m. for avalanche control.

Reduced visibility, winter driving conditions and increasing avalanche hazard could force an earlier closure.

There is no parking at the summit of Teton Pass and Coal Creek beginning at 8 p.m on Tuesday, March 5. Highway travelers and backcountry users are advised to plan accordingly.

WYDOT thanks travelers for their cooperation. Dial 511 or go here for updated weather and road conditions. Sign up for automated email and text alerts with 511 notify at www.wyoroad.info.
