WILSON, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) issued a traffic warning at 3:52 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, warning drivers that congestion in and around Wilson would be extra tricky this evening.
“Traffic delays on southbound WY390 from milepost 0 to 7 are expected this afternoon and evening,” WYDOT said. “Traffic delays on westbound WY22 from milepost 0 to 4 are expected this afternoon and evening. Delays are from traffic congestion and road damage. Delays of up to 40 minutes may occur.”
Traffic during commuting hours has slowed due to the height of ski season and ongoing work on the Snake River Bridge project. Pothole repair work on the bridge is scheduled for overnight on Friday, March 15, from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m., weather permitting.
