GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK — Visitation to Grand Teton National Park (GTNP) slowed in September, but preliminary numbers shared by the National Park Service on Tuesday indicate that the total still tracks with past Septembers.

Last month, the park saw 567,326 recreation visits, which is about an 8.2% decrease from September 2025, when GTNP saw 617,970 visits. Visitation was down 2.1% from September 2021 (579,888 recreation visits), which was the park’s record-breaking year with over 3.88 million visits.
