JACKSON, Wyo. — The Willow Creek Fire command has downgraded evacuation orders for southern Star Valley.
As of 3:45 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 25, the area from Gomm’s Pond Lane south to Salt River Pass is now in the “set” stage (using the “Ready, Set, Go” method). The area west of US89 from Reeves-Schwab Lane south to Gomm’s Pond Lane remains in “set” stage.
According to a post from the Lincoln County Homeland Security & Emergency Management Facebook page, residents may return to their homes in the area. Residents should remain prepared to evacuate at short notice if needed, and they are instructed to monitor local media.
