JACKSON, Wyo. — Don’t miss the National Museum of Wildlife Art’s largest and longest-running fundraiser, Western Visions, returning for its 38th year this Thursday, September 11.

A signature event of the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival, the Western Visions Art Show + Sale showcases top wildlife artists from around the world. Featuring a wide range of traditional and contemporary artworks in a variety of media, the Show + Sale includes more than 170 artists. Each artist submits one work; this year’s sale will feature 138 small-format works and 33 large-format works, all available via an intent-to-purchase draw.

The evening features complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverages, live music, dessert, and the opportunity to meet many participating artists. The entry window for the fixed-price draw will close at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, with winners and awards announced at 7 p.m. The evening will conclude with a celebratory dessert reception until 8:30 p.m. There are three ways to participate in this year’s event—in-person, online, or via proxy. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at wildlifeartevents.org, where collectors can also browse the entire online catalog.

New this year, attendees can choose between three ticket tiers: General Admission ($195), VIP ($500), and Benefactor ($1,000). VIP ticket packages, which are almost sold out, include access to the artist party on Wednesday, September 10, an elevated tote bag, and entry to the VIP Lounge on sale night. Benefactor tickets are for those looking to attend Western Visions while also giving back to the Museum–they will receive all of the VIP benefits, and $500 of their ticket is a direct donation. “We are excited to offer attendees and collectors these enriched opportunities to engage with artists and support the Museum,” says the Museum’s Executive Director, Steve Seamons.

All artists were required to include an element of nature or wildlife in their work, and participants in the large format category were tasked with interpreting the theme of wonder. “This theme was taken directly from the Museum’s mission statement: Impart knowledge and generate wonder through art and education. From pondering the vastness of the animal (and human) experience to reveling in the splendor of nature’s beauty, these works truly do generate wonder. We invite you to embrace the wonder as you wander the galleries. May you leave this show with a sense of connection, inspiration, and serenity!” says Chief Marketing Officer and Western Visions Show Director Madison Webb Stanko. The Western Visions exhibition will be on view at the Museum from September 6 – September 28, 2025.
