Updated, 3:30 p.m.: All lanes of US89 are open and the traffic incident has been cleared as of 3:26 p.m., according to Teton County Emergency Management.

JACKSON, Wyo. — Heads up, weekend travelers!

A crash has closed one lane of US89 at milepost 166, just south of Moose Junction. An alert from the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) at 2:16 p.m. advised drivers to be prepared to stop and to expect delays.

A subsequent alert from Teton County Emergency Management stated that a road closure was possible. “Avoid area around Moose Junction until 3:30 p.m. while crews work to clear the roadway,” the alert said.
