Weekend accident in Star Valley claims three

STAR VALLEY, WYO – A head-on collision between two pickup trucks Friday, Nov. 2 proved fatal for three Star Valley men. The accident occurred near mile marker 105 on US Highway 89 just after 6pm.

Wyoming Highway Patrol reported a Chevy 3500 was northbound when it collided with a southbound Ford F250.

“According to witnesses, the northbound vehicle crossed into the southbound lane,” said WHP’s Lt. Kyle McKay. “The vehicles met head on. All three occupants succumbed to their injuries and died at the scene. They required extradition from the vehicles. No seatbelts were in use. Alcohol is being investigated as a contributing factor in this crash.”

Those killed in the accident were Robin Kelly Lish, 43, of Afton; Tyler Keehn, 25, of Afton; and Michael Petrosine, 43, of Thayne.
