JACKSON, Wyo. \u2014 A highway worker who was killed on Teton Pass after she exited her vehicle briefly, only to have it roll on top of her, has been identified. Wyoming Highway Patrol reported the fatality occurred on August 24 at 2:09 p.m. Troopers responded to milepost 13 on Wyoming 22 west of Jackson after being notified of the crash in the parking pullout on the pass. The driver, identified as Shirley A. Samuelson, 62, was piloting a 2009 Superior Broom road sweeper when she stopped in the parking pullout on Wyoming 22 to speak with a coworker.\u00a0While Samuelson was conversing with the coworker, the road sweeper began to roll down an incline and ran into her. Samuelson succumbed to her injuries\u00a0at the scene of the crash. An investigation is ongoing.
