Clouds will be on the increase Thursday, but the approaching storm system has trended farther north and weaker for Jackson Hole. Snowfall is looking minimal at this point, with occasional snow showers from Thursday evening into Friday morning, amounting to a trace to 1″ at the most for the Tetons with no more than a dusting in the valley. The inversion should slowly erode by later Thursday, with valley highs ranging from the upper teens to the mid 20s depending on when the inversion breaks. Similar if not slightly colder temperatures can be expected in the mountains as well on Thursday afternoon.
Skies will remain mostly cloudy on Friday with a few flurries in the morning, but otherwise, conditions will generally be dry. Temperatures will be milder with morning lows in the teens in the valley and afternoon highs in the upper 20s to low 30s. Saturday and Sunday are looking dry with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the mid to upper 20s. We could then see a lighter snow event arrive on Monday or Tuesday.
