DRIGGS, Idaho — Ready, set, vote! The 2024 Pooch Playoffs Competition has begun! Who will be crowned the Ulti-Mutt Cutie of Teton Valley?

The Pooch Playoffs are a bracket style competition hosted by local photographer, Jess Curren. Jess has always loved her furry companion, so when the opportunity arose to host a local competition as a charity fundraiser for PAWS Animal Shelter, Teton Valley’s own animal shelter and welfare organization, she jumped on it.

With the photo sessions complete, the battle is on for 32 local pooches, six of which are up for adoption through PAWS, competing for exciting prizes from Peak Printing, Ollie’s Mountain Dog Wash, Trail Creek Grooming, The Local Galleria, Barrels and Bins, The Velvet Moose, Wydaho Roasters, Peaked Sports and Sweet Peaks. Each week, two dogs will face off in an online vote. Each week’s winner advances until one adorable pup is voted the Ulti-mutt Cutie of Teton Valley!

The winner of this bracket will then move on to a national competition in April. Prizes will be awarded to the pooches taking first, second and third place. Proceeds from the event will be donated to PAWS to help with its 2024 operating costs.
