ALPINE, Wyo. — Alpine drivers, expect to encounter some road work this week.
The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) announced Friday that it will be working on a bridge deck epoxy overlay on US89 at mile marker 118 with contract crews from Reiman Corp. Work is expected to begin on Thursday, June 4, and continue for three days, if weather permits.
Work will be conducted during daylight hours as the epoxy requires favorable temperatures, WYDOT noted. Expect to see lane closures in both the eastbound and westbound lanes. The bridge will remain open to two lanes of traffic. Drivers will see a 14-foot width restriction while the project is on.
