JACKSON, WY— The “season of giving” is actually year-round in Jackson. With more than 200 nonprofits and a steady stream of community events, there are always opportunities to volunteer and give back. We’ve compiled a few of them, courtesy of The Community Foundation of Jackson Hole:
Jackson Giants Baseball Tournaments
Jackson Giants Baseball is looking for volunteers to help with ticket sales and concessions. They have three home tournaments coming up and need lots of help. Shifts are usually two hours long and you can work with others.
1st Tournament: June 22 – 24
2nd Tournament: June 29 – July 1
3rd Tournament: July 5 – 8

Teton County Libray Summer Kick-Off Party
It’s time for the library’s world-famous Summer Fun kick-off Party, and Teton County Library is looking for volunteers to help pull it of.f
10 am-1: 30 pm: Help with such fun activities as folk-singing storyteller Jose Luis Orozco, Hula Dancers, nail art, glitter tattoos, and more!
12-2 pm: Book Fair – Meet and greet elementary and middle school kids at the book fair (Youth Auditorium) and oversee summer reading registrants take one book each. Share your enthusiasm for the library and help them choose books and get excited for a summer of reading!

Jackson Hole Therapeutic Riding Association
Jackson Hole Therapeutic Riding Association is looking for volunteers for the 2108 season. The program serves 200 clients throughout the riding season helping riders build strength, skills and confidence by fostering the relationship between horse and rider. No horse experience needed. Volunteer training sessions begin April 9th and will continue throughout the season. Training will be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at various times.
During the season Therapeutic Riding offers lessons Monday-Friday from 9 am- 6:30 pm, and that couldn’t happen without volunteers! Email Robyn at jhtra.volunteer@gmail.com or call 307-733-1374 for further information.

Patriotic 4th of July Color Run
Jackson Hole Young Life is hosting Jackson’s first patriotic themed color run 5k on June 30 at 10:00 am and needs some very enthusiastic helpers:
- Registration/set-up extraordinaire
- MC/DJ sound tech wizard
- On-course color throwers/road managers
- Video makin’ magician
All are welcome, not to mention a fun way to celebrate America’s Day!
PAWS of JH Tuxes and Tails Gala
PAWS of Jackson Hole’s annual Gala is fast approaching and they need volunteers to help set-up the tent and work on the night of the event. They’re looking for folks who can help decorate and organize the auctions, register people upon arrival, sell raffle tickets, organize the silent auction and help the auctioneer during the live auction.
