JACKSON, Wyo. — The Town of Jackson is accepting applications for planning committee members for Mountain Towns 2030 (MT2030), a two-day annual climate action summit being held for the first time in Jackson on October 15 and 16, 2024.
Founded in Park City in 2019, MT2030 is a non-profit dedicated to advancing bold climate action plans and effective solutions across mountain communities nationwide. Applications for planning committee members are being accepted through an online form for the next two weeks.
Mountain Towns 2030 participants will be able to share ideas, insights and solutions, with the goal of accelerating collective action on climate, according to MT2030.
According to the Town, Jackson was selected as the Summit location for 2024 based on the Town’s ambitious goal to be carbon net zero by 2030. The Jackson Summit will convene approximately 500 attendees for two days of keynotes, panels and hands-on workshops featuring actionable and relevant solutions.
