JACKSON, Wyo. — Tickets are on sale now for The Center’s annual Benefit Concert! This family-friendly outdoor gathering is crucial for supporting the arts in Jackson and The Center’s downtown campus for the nonprofit arts.
This year, 2025 GRAMMY Award-winners for Best Folk Album, Gillian Welch and David Rawlings will perform. Pillars of the modern acoustic music world, Welch and Rawlings’ careers span over 25 years. Both have pursued solo projects but have always returned to their decades-long collaboration. Welch was credited as part of the Album of the Year GRAMMY-winning team for her work as producer, performer, and songwriter on the eight times platinum “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” soundtrack, which Rawlings also appeared on as a vocalist.
The pair has been hailed by Pitchfork as “modern masters of American folk” and “protectors of the American folk song” by Rolling Stone. This is the duo’s second time winning the GRAMMY for Best Folk Album. They also received the honor for their 2021 album, “All the Good Times.”
