JACKSON, Wyo. — Three Jackson Hole High School dancers were selected for the 2021 All-State Dance Team.

Dancers from all over the state competed for 22 spots on the All-State Dance Team. Captain and Senior Ashley Hovinga, Senior Brooke McGough, and Junior Morgan May were selected from Jackson Hole High School.

The ladies were selected based on their GPA, a letter of recommendation from Head Coach, Kathleen Gutierrez, and a video submission in which each dancer individually performed multiple dance moves that demonstrated their technical abilities.

Ashley, Morgan, and Brooke performed a routine with the All-State team at the closing of the State Spirit Competition on Friday, Jan. 29, at the Casper Event Center.

The Jackson Hole High School Dance team placed 4th in the 4A Hip Hop Dance, with 94.667 points, and took 5th in the 4A Jazz Dance, with 75.833 at the State Spirit Competition.
