JACKSON, Wyo. — Founded in 2008, The Children’s Grand Adventure is dedicated to connecting youth receiving long-term cancer care to extraordinary people, places and experiences through in-person and virtual adventures that inspire healing through exploration.

Over 100 campers to date have been able to enjoy hiking, camping, adventuring, canoeing, wildlife safaris, rafting, s’mores eating and of course meeting amazing new friends—all of which is made possible by our incredible network of donors and partners.

Last year, we launched CGA Boundless—our new and innovative virtual program that brings all the healing benefits of our in-person program to the bedside of youth who are not able to travel—providing them with the unique and important opportunity to adventure, explore and build meaningful connections.

Together and in connection with nature, the pillars of strength, fortitude and resiliency guide and inspire the children as they bridge-build across the canyon of remission and further into survivorship.

From witnessing elk thrive in the most trying and intense environments, to encountering injured birds in rehabilitation, to “taking the reins” dog-sledding, these in-person and virtual adventures not only provide an opportunity for fun, connection, and growth—but also create an atmosphere of inspiration, empowerment, encouragement and endless possibility.
