DRIGGS, Idaho — The Community Foundation of Teton Valley’s Tin Cup Challenge brought in $4,509,605 this year, breaking last year’s record by almost $1 million — a 16% increase — according to a press release.

Since it’s inception in 2008, the Tin Cup Challenge has raised over $35 million for Teton Valley nonprofits.

“This year’s results are a powerful testament to the generosity of our community and the vital work of local organizations,” Executive Director of the Community Foundation of Teton Valley Bonnie Self said in a press release. “What inspires me most is the collective effort behind the success. Tin Cup is powered by this community, and this year Teton Valley showed up in an extraordinary way.”

This year, 1,766 individuals donated to the challenge, which is 9% more than last year, and 73 nonprofits participated.

“Every donation, volunteer hour, and participant helped make this year’s results possible,” said Self. “Together, these acts of generosity add up to something much bigger.”
