JACKSON, Wyo. — On Wednesday, Dec. 11, Teton County, Jackson Hole Fire/EMS and Teton County Emergency Management officially welcomed Mike Moyer as Jackson’s new Fire Chief.
Surrounded by family, friends, Fire/EMS personnel, elected officials, community partners and members of the public, Moyer was sworn in as the Jackson Hole Fire/EMS Chief, Teton County said on Facebook.
Moyer told Buckrail that he is honored to be entrusted with serving as Fire Chief.
“I am looking forward to creating opportunity to develop our up-and-coming leaders, ensuring that the organization remains agile in our changing community, and continuing to build synergistic partnerships,” Moyer said.
In November, Moyer accepted the position after being named Interim Fire Chief earlier this year.
“Congratulations, Chief Moyer!” Teton County said. “Thank you for your service to our community!”
