JACKSON, Wyo. — Hey, Jackson teenagers! On Friday, Dec. 5, Center for the Arts (CFTA) and Teton Music School will co-present the third annual Teen Takeover. The evening, which is free to attend and produced entirely by local teens, will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The event gives young artists a venue to express their creativity and talents. Past years have had performances from local student bands, collective art installations and food cooked by the teens.
Scheduled events this year include music by Jackson Hole High School Strings, a production by Off Square Players and performances by Teton Music School Rock Bands.
Ongoing throughout the evening there will be an open mic, visual art, maker space, a photo booth and dance videos spread throughout the galleries, commons and theater lobby.
Parents are welcome to attend and mingle in the Parent Lounge at the event.
