JACKSON, Wyo. — A local man was assisted by Teton County Search and Rescue (TCSAR) on Thursday afternoon after sustaining a lower leg injury on Ferrin’s Trail, on Snow King Mountain, the organization announced Friday.

According to TCSAR, the man allegedly hit a stump while descending the trail. Volunteers responded with two RZR (side-by-side utility vehicle) teams and other volunteers approached on foot or bike. The man was transported off the trail in a wheeled litter to the Hagen Highway trail where he was transferred to an RZR and transported to a waiting ambulance.
