JACKSON, Wyo. — The Teton County Health Department (TCHD) has announced its upcoming seasonal vaccine clinic, which will offer flu and Covid vaccines to those ages six months and older.

The clinic will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 7, and will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:20 a.m. to 6:20 p.m. at TCHD at 460 East Pearl Avenue. Each person interested in receiving a vaccine must have an appointment.

Patients who are insured are asked to bring their health insurance cards to the appointment. Accepted in-network health insurances are listed on TCHD’s website. Those with out-of-network insurance will be able to pay at the time of the appointment. For those without insurance, call the Health Department for the latest information about vaccine availability: (307) 733-6401, option 1.

“Yearly vaccines against flu and Covid are proven methods to reduce severe illness and complications from these potentially serious illnesses, and set you and your family up for the healthiest possible winter season,” said Teton District Health Officer Travis Riddell.

Flu shots will be available for those from six months to 64 years old, and high-dose flu vaccines are available for those 65 years of age and older, while supplies last. This year’s flu vaccine is preservative free and formulated to protect against three strains of flu.

For those looking to make an appointment for a child under 12 years old, call the Health Department for the latest information: (307) 733-6401, option 1. For those 12 and older, appointments can be booked online. Visit this link for a guide on how to book an appointment.
