ALTA, Wyo. — Grand Targhee announced this morning that it will join the Mountain Collective family for the 2020/21 winter season.

Targhee is one of four new additions to the Mountain Collective pass, which now includes 22 total destinations.

“It’s an honor to be partnered with these resorts,” said Jennie White, Targhee’s director of marketing. “These are amazing destinations.”

The pass adds local value too, White said. Now, Targhee season pass holders get access to discounted tickets at all participating Mountain Collective resorts.

White said Mountain Collective offers a unique opportunity for Targhee to grow, “but grow sustainably,” since pass holders only get two days at each destination. Additional days are 50% off, so guests have the option to stay, but the hope is that Targhee isn’t overwhelmed by crowds for weeks at a time.

Targhee joins 22 other ski resorts across the globe, including its neighbors at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Big Sky. The triage makes for a great road trip, White said. Other new resorts this year are Chamonix, Panorama Mountain Resort, and Sugarloaf.
