WYOMING \u2013 Authorities in Sweetwater and Fremont counties announced the arrest of two men believed to be connected with several burglaries in the Hudson, Crowheart, and Dubois areas.\r\n\r\nSweetwater County detectives executed a search warrant at a residence in Superior, WY last week and arrested Justin Ryan Chewning and Justin Everett Belcher, both Fremont County residents.\r\n\r\nSheriff Mike Lowell said the Fremont County Sheriff\u2019s Office is investigating a recent series of burglaries in that county. Items stolen included firearms, saddles, and elk, deer, moose, and caribou antlers.\u00a0Some of the stolen items have been recovered, according to the Fremont County Sheriff\u2019s Office.\r\n\r\nChewning and Belcher are being held in the Lander jail. They are charged with Wrongful Taking or Disposing of Stolen Property. Their bond has been set at $50,000 each.\r\n\r\nIt is unknown at this time whether the suspects are also implicated in the break-in reported earlier this month of a Dubois Association for Recreation and Trails (DART) trailer parked on Togwotee Pass. Sweetwater County Sheriff\u2019s Office spokesman Detective Dick Blust declined to describe the results of the search, citing the ongoing investigation.
