DRIGGS, ID – The Symphony on Sunday series, brought to you by the Downtown Driggs Association, is a series of free classical and popular music performances outdoors at the Driggs City Plaza. This summer’s series has included performances by the Idaho Falls Symphony Quartet and Brass Quintet, and the Sagebrush Chamber Players. These performances are family-friendly, educational, and fun. The public is invited to bring their own chairs and picnics.

The final event of the series, held this Sunday, September 15 at 4 pm, will feature jazz and R&B with Kevin Young, the principal saxophonist at the Idaho Falls Symphony. Additionally, hear the sounds of Eastern Idaho’s finest musicians, The Shift. Formed in 2010, the band is an all-star lineup of seasoned jazz and R&B musicians with the talent and finesse to effortlessly shift from one genre of music to another. Whether it’s the intensity and earthiness of Marvin Gaye, Wilson Picket, and Al Green or, the melodic lushness of George Gershwin, Erroll Garner, and Duke Ellington, The Shift delivers!

The concert will be held at Driggs City Plaza (or the Driggs City Center, if it’s raining). To learn more about the Symphony on Sunday Performances, click here.
