Men’s Health Talk: Oct. 19
St. John’s kicks off its fall programming tonight Oct. 19, with a Men’s Health Talk at the Silver Dollar Bar Showroom in the Wort Hotel.
Dr. Ted Morgan, Dr. Bobby Jones and Dr. Eric Wieman will discuss prostate and urological health from 5:30 – 7 p.m. Attendees can enjoy free light appetizers. Cost of attendance is free. More details are available here.
Community SPET Housing Info Session: Oct. 24
Prior to election day, St. John’s invites the community to Pinky G’s to learn about SPET workforce housing ballot items for the hospital, schools, town, county and community.
The event will take place from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at Pinky G’s Pizzeria in Jackson.

Light the Town Pink: Oct. 26
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Join St. John’s Health’s new Medical Oncologist Dr. Katie Kerrigan, Huntsman Cancer Institute Radiologist Dr. Laurie Fajardo, and local Radiologist Dr. Sean Haling to learn about the latest advancements in breast cancer detection and treatment, and the expanded mammography services at St. John’s Health. It will be followed by a Closing Reception with St. John’s Health’s next CEO, Jeff Sollis.

Modern Joint Replacement Health Talk: Nov.16
Come November, join Dr. Drew Lighthart, Medical Director of the St. John’s Health Joint Replacement Center, for a talk on the latest advancements in hip and knee replacements.

Mindfulness for Diabetes: Nov. 19-20
Join Freeskiing World Tour Champion and Founder of Mountain Mind Project, Sasha Dingle for a meditation course to support those living with Diabetes.
Based on the evidence-based MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) and mPEAK (MindfulPerformance Enhancement, Awareness & Knowledge) programs, mindfulness allows you to make choices that support you, your health, your performance, and what you want most in your life.
This Immersive Program includes:
- Weekend Retreat on Nov. 19-20 (Saturday 9-5 pm, Sunday 9-3 pm) in the Wellness Flex Space at St. John’s Health
- Individual intake session
- Access to guided meditation recordings
- Ongoing post-program support
